A little history
GNRLIVE.COM began in the late 1990's as the GNR MP3 Exchange, and was the first web-based source of live GNR recordings on the Internet. It later evolved into GNRLIVE.COM and was one of the most popular GNR sites on the Internet for concert recordings and bootleg information. It's popularity peaked at about two-thousand hits per day in 2001 around the time of Axl's comeback performances at the House of Blues and Rock in Rio 3. The first ever recording of 'The Blues' to reach the Internet was hosted at this site shortly following the first live performance in early 2001.
After a five-year hiatus, the release of Chinese Democracy has inspired me to relaunch this website. I'd like to welcome all GNRLIVE.COM visitors, new and old, to celebrate the release of the album we've all been waiting for. I sincerely hope there will be lots of exciting GNR news in the near future and look forward to reporting it here. This site will continue to focus on tours, live recordings, and information about where you can download new recordings as they become available. Stay tuned...
